Regeneration Operator

Our client, a global leader is waste/water treatment and chemicals; is looking for a Regeneration Operator. They will prepare resin, mobile equipment and ion exchange resin tanks for customer fulfillment

They will also handle chemicals such as acids, bases and salts and perform quality control checks on the equipment.

 

Duties Include

  • Receives resin from customer sites in resin tanks or on mobile equipment.  
  • Empties tanks or equipment of the exhausted media and prepares it for regeneration.
  • Prepares resin tanks or mobile equipment by filling empty tanks with regenerated media.
  • Performs quality control checks on the equipment to ensure specifications are met.  Test may include pH, specific ions, resistivity, and TDS.
  • Repairs and helps maintain the bottles/tanks and other service type of equipment, which could include minor valve/PVC repairs, painting, and refurbishing as required.
  • Maintains good housekeeping at all times.
  • Follows EHS procedures and policies.
  • Prepares labels for resin tanks
  • Monitors bulk chemical delivery.
  • Operates forklift as needed.

  • Inspect, maintain and repair electromechanical and solid state electrical equipment, using a variety of electrical test equipment, meters, powered and non-powered tools and equipment.
  • Install new electrical and electronic equipment and electrical wiring according to the National Electrical Code and company standards.

Work management Program Coordinator No. 2

Responsibilities:

What’s required to be successful as the PMC – Online Work Management SPOC……….  

Key customers are:

  • PM’s / FTL’s
  • Work Week Leaders
  • Ownership – The SPOC needs to assume ownership and provide oversight of all PMC work on the station plan. This includes:
  • Ensuring PMs are ready for execution if the work is bundled
  • Chasing Engineering for procedures for PM’s so they can be completed if work is bundled or is a pre req
  • Confirming and pushing the execution of associated corrective work that needs to be completed prior to the project work
  •  Pushing FTL’s to submit Work Requests so work can be added to the station plan
  •  Fighting for project work to stay on the plan when other groups want to bumped it off or are competing for resources
  • Issuing SWA’s if work is bumped off the plan
  •  Help the PM’s and FTL’s plan, schedule and execute work.
  •  Explain the Work Management process to the PM’s and FTL’s. Help the PM’s and FTL’s with all activities related to scheduling work. Hold their hand until they learn the process.
  • Introduce the PM’s and FTL’s to the Work Week Leaders, Ops, Mtce FLM’s, etc, etc,,,,
  •   Accompany the FTL’s to the Shift Mgr. for SWA sign-off and approval as required. Some FTL’s are very intimidated the first time they meet the Shift Mgr..
  •   Work with Assessing to ensure tasks are assessed on time or new tasks are added as required.
  • Send Assessing a weekly PMC Project Backlog Report of tasks to be assessed.
  •  Walk-about: visit B06 and B33 at least once a day, possibly twice a day depending on outstanding actions. 
  • Resolve scheduling and planning issues with PMs and FTL’s face-to-face when possible.
  •  Meet with 3 to 5 PMs / FTLs per visit to B06 and B33.
  • Continually review work on the station plan to ensure it stays on the plan. Confirm work is not in the WZ-Bin or moved out to a future date without your knowledge. 
  • Leverage and remind people of the “Ready to Work” program. Work with the T-26 Cycle Mgr. to ensure work is added to the plan.
  •  Review work at T-0 and T+1 to confirm it was completed as scheduled. Reschedule or Scope Work Authorization (SWA) it immediately back on to the station plan if required. 
  • Resolve material issues and confirm the status of material with Supply Chain. Send an email, follow up with a face-to-face meeting when possible.
  • Send the out the PMC Project – Online Work Management report every two weeks.
  • Present and review the PMC Project – Online Work Management report every Wednesday during Visual Mgmt Board (VMB) with the Work Week Leaders.
  •  Help complete SWA’s for the FTL’s if they’re maxed out.
  • Visit the maintenance shops a couple of times a week.
  • Work closely with Work Group Coords (WGC’s) and Cost & Schedule Techs (CST’s) from each Performance Team. Give them lots of heads up on projects which will be executed by their crews.
  •  Coordinate Team Action Meetings (TAM’s) and monthly meetings with project groups and key stakeholders such as Fuel Handling.
  •  Visit the shops (stand in the shop) especially when work is scheduled on the weekend to make sure it’s executed.
  • Communicate, communicate, communicate!!!

Project Manager II

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager on behalf of one of North America’s largest natural gas distributors

Accountabilities:

  • Manage assessment and repair of Maintenance Program US GTM Projects; develop and implement AFE’s from the budget proposal stage through contract administration, construction management, and cost control and reporting
  • Manage detailed design work by contract and/or consultant resources
  • Perform day-to-day project activities; complete various documentation including permits, reports and utility crossings, ensure regulatory compliance, and review Company standards and procedures
  • Develop execution plans for planned group digs and issues, 
  • At a gatekeeper to ensure that all requirements are met before proceeding to the next stage of the project.
  • Conduct field visits a minimum of three times per quarter to complete Safety Observation Cards and Audit
  • Communicate with Pipeline Integrity on status of upcoming digs, act as liaison between PI and Construction
  • Review dig-packages issued by PI prior to field receipt 
  • Request field reviews of new sites to ROW, Environment, Construction, and Safety as appropriate
  • Create Work Order (WO) and Work Release Contract (WRC) requests for excavation, sweep, Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) and inspection 
  • File and upload daily LEM sheets, site and safety inspector reports
  • Submit outage requests to the appropriate Outage Planner(s) and follow up to make sure sites are approved prior to starting work
  • Monitor work orders to ensure scope and costs are not exceeded 
  • Verify any revisions on Safe Excavation Pressure (SEP), deadline changes and other information that can affect the sites on their assigned zones, and provide a weekly progress report to Manager 
  • Review initial NDE reports for technical completeness
  • Coordinate and assist in repair decisions
  • Participate as required in Project kick off meetings, progress meetings, lessons learned meetings, and close out reviews
  • Predict obstacles, challenges and risks to proactively determine mitigation strategies and innovative solutions to problems

We are currently seeking Project Manager, Turbine Generators

The Project Manager is accountable for leading and delivering large-scale capital projects from

development to closeout and effectively balancing the competing demands of quality, scope, time, and

cost. Such projects will include modifications to station systems, structures and components, other

support infrastructure repair, improvement, or new construction and can be expected to span several

years. The position is directly accountable to and works under the direction of the Sr. Program Manager

responsible for project execution at the Stations. The Project Manager is expected to perform duties

with minimal supervision and a high degree of initiative.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Manages an integrated project team (IPT) responsible for successfully delivering projects within a
  • strong matrix organizational structure. The Project Manager provides day-to-day supervision and
  • direction to all members of the IPT for the duration of their involvement with the project.
  • Leads the integrated project team in the delivery of their assigned mission and hold such
  • accountability for the entire project lifecycle from development through closeout.
  • Complies with and oversees execution of the policies, processes, and procedures in the management system that governs project delivery and ensures execution is efficient and effective.   • Negotiates with, and integrates all functions (i.e., planning, design, engineering, construction,
  • contracting, procurement etc.), consistent with the customer needs and PMC commitments in support of assigned projects into a comprehensive Project Management Plan. Within this plan, integrates schedules and criteria and establishes project scope and criteria, schedules and milestones, budgets, dependencies, and responsibilities of the participating parties, assumptions and risks, contingencies, and performance measurement criteria.
  • Anticipates problems and proactively consults with other senior managers in identifying issues that may hinder the success of a project. Develops strategies and presents solutions to affected customer groups such as station management, regulators, union officials and others.
  • Resolves controversies (i.e., conflicts with contractors on work flow/priorities; negotiating with union officials and/or regulatory bodies on staff/work related problems; violations of legislated or regulatory processes) that challenge the successful execution of project work. Listens and responds appropriately to concerns and develops refined solutions that become process improvements.
  • Interfaces regularly with the Customer, Stakeholders, PMC throughout the project lifecycle in order to ensure execution is in-line with commitments and expectations.
  • Integrates all the processes and functions involved in the project, including planning, engineering,
  • design, procurement, construction, commissioning and other technical functions. Coordinates actions and decisions with these elements, resolving conflicts and settling issues by dealing with managers who are responsible for their phase of the project.

 Planning and Staff Leadership

  •  Evaluates workload projections and staffing requirements pertaining to assigned projects, based on resource loaded schedules. Assigns duties within the project team and renders necessary project management assistance to assure compliance with program/project budget, criteria, deadlines, and mission accomplishment.
  • Manages the activities of the IPT to assure steady workflow, maximum production, compliance with deadlines and regulatory requirements, and efficiency of project operations.
  • Manages contracted resources to ensure the contractor provides quality services and/or qualified
  • personnel.
  • Manages and monitors the work and performance of team members, through regular individual
  • supervision (to include coaching and mentoring, performance management, discipline and grievance procedures etc.) and is accountable for the quality of the work of both individuals and the team.

Engineering Project Manager

We are looking for an Engineering Project Manager on behalf of one of North America’s leading natural gas distributors. They will be responsible for managing all phases of Civil and Mechanical pipeline projects, from inception to completion.

 

Duties Include:

  • Acts as primary contact for project activities, leading project review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test.
  • Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies project problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.

Electrical Engineer

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer on behalf of our client in Bellevue, WA a leader in waste/water treatment and chemicals. The Electrical Engineer (EE) provides engineering needed to deliver custom water treatment systems to industrial and municipal customers. Working on a multi-disciplinary team, the EE ensures the accuracy of design, timeliness of submittals, adherence to budget, and compliance with our quality procedures.

Contract Duration: One year Contract.

Duties Include: 

  • As EE, you have a broad responsibility to develop engineering deliverables and coordinate with a project team.
  • Led by the Lead Engineer, you complete design documents in concert with Process, Mechanical and Instrumentation, and Controls engineers, as well as various project support functions (Document Control, Sourcing, Finance, etc).
  • The EE works in a highly technical role; generating, checking, or approving Process & Instrument Diagrams, single line diagrams, I/O lists, loop (termination) diagrams, control logic diagrams, power distribution designs, control system architecture (PLC/DCS) and general design specifications.
  • You have experience in control panel design; including, but not limited to, panel layout, termination drawings, and compiling a bill of materials.
  • You support vendor selection and equipment procurement, managing vendor documents, and ensuring our suppliers are on track and performing.
  • You have strong experience with racetray (conduit, channel, cable tray) routing and design.

We are looking for a Construction Manager on behalf of one Pennsylvania’s largest utilities companies. They will support and manage all aspects of project life cycle; including planning, bidding, awarding and oversight of construction projects

 

Duties Include:

• Oversee the planning, design and engineering, construction and closeout of various types of capital and O&M projects. Projects entail an array of facility and infrastructure categories including offices, service centers, data centers, warehouses, emergency operating facilities, and transmission dispatch and regional dispatch facilities

• Facilitate and manage capex project activities on behalf of operating companies and other business units
