Project Engineer

We are seeking a Project Engineer to provide critical bioprocess knowledge to our Product Care Life Cycle Engineering team for a 12 months contract in Westborough, MA

Our client is a the company is a manufacturer and distributor of diagnostic imaging agents and radiopharmaceuticals for imaging modalities that are used in medical imaging procedures.

On a day to day basis your work will include:

The Project Engineer position is located in the Westborough R&D Life Cycle Engineering group within the Biotechnology business area in Life Sciences. The primary focus of this position is to provide technical guidance and expertise in the bioprocess area with applications and engineering knowledge of single-use bioreactor systems; cell bags and hollow fiber filtration. This position requires the application of design, investigation root cause analysis, product testing, data analysis and report writing to resolve customer complaints / product issues and implement existing product design improvements, all while working in a cross-functional team environment.

 Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or related STEM Major.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Bioprocessing, Biopharmaceutical, Biotechnology or related field.
  • Demonstrated broad exposure to HW/SW/Systems design and technical depth in one or more engineering disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, etc)
  • Knowledge and experience with regulated industries quality systems and relevant regulations such as cGMP ISO 9001, ISO 13485.
  • Experience with Upstream Bioprocessing Equipment such as Bioreactors and mixers.

QC Inspector

We are looking for a QC Inspector who will be is responsible for inspecting machined work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications for 12 months contract in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Inspect machined work pieces to ensure conformance to specification
  • Interpret and follow written inspection instructions, quality requirements and customer specifications
  • Measure dimensions such as length, height, and distance between reference points, using precision instruments such as micrometer, caliper, dial indicator, optical comparator, X-Y-Z measuring equipment, X-ray to ensure product meets specifications
  • Locate reference point on part and measure dimensions, such as angle, arc, and radii, using combination of aids, such as surface plate, angle plates, parallel bars, gauge blocks, V-blocks and precision measuring instruments
  • Complete all necessary inspection forms and reports
  • Inspect first run, in process and final parts
  • Perform airflow tests, incoming and final inspections
  • Perform, as assigned, other similar or related duties

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required

Monteur (Wiremen)

Wiremen

  • The fitter (wiremen) must be able to assemble harnesses.
  • He / she must be able to crimp contacts on the wires to aircraft or medical quality criteria, more specifically according to the IPC / WHMA-A-620 standard.
  • He / she must be able to solder wires on various electrical components.
  • He / she must be able to route multiple cables in restricted areas to obtain a professional look (dressing).

Shifts:

10 Roles – Evening (2:30 pm – 10:30 pm)

10 Roles – Night (10:30pm – 6:30 am)

 

Monteur

  • Le monteur (wiremen) doit être capable d'asssembler des harnais.
  • Il/elle doit être capable de sertir des contacts sur les fils aux critères de qualité avion ou médical, plus spécifiquement selon la norme IPC/WHMA-A-620.
  • Il/elle doit être en mesure de souder des fils sur diverses composantes électriques.
  • Il/elle doit être capable d'acheminer de multiple câbles dans des zones restreintes pour ainsi obtenir un rendu professionnel (dressing).

Shifts:

10 Soir  (2:30 pm – 10:30 pm)

10 Nuit (10:30 pm – 6:30 am)
